For some reason the Avast Antivirus application is falsely signalling
applications developed using Embarcadero Delphi/C++ Builder as
containing a virus. This is wrong, all our applications are virus-tested
befor being published here.

A note about the available software languages
Close Talk Control is currently available in languages for our most common markets in the world. Translating the software to other languages is a fairly easy operation involving editing a simple word document. Please contact us for more information about translating Close Talk Control to your local market language.
Version 3.0.10.3
Updated 2015-August-12.
Version 3, compatible with Windows Vista, 7, 8 and10, is now available.
To install version 3:
- Use the link below to download the installation package file
- Double-click the file to start the installation. Installation requires Administrator rights
- Version 3 is installed in parallel with versions below 3. This means that it is possible to have both version 3 and lower installed on the same computer account
- When version 3 is started for the first time the database from a lower than 3 version (if any) is copied to a new version 3 folder. This means that changes to the database in version 3 will not affect the database from a pre-version 3 database and vice versa
- Both version 3 and lower than 3 versions use the same settings, making changes under Settings will affect all versions installed on the computer account
- All versions use the same Software Key
- Update the system firmwares for the delegate and central unit, many of the new functions in version 3 requires this update
- An updated User Manual will be available when the final version 3 is released, use the current documentation and addendums until futher notice

Please note the following
regarding version 2.6.1.7:
- The system event logging function only works for screen and/or file logging, the RS-232 port output is not supported in this version. This new event logging function is not documented yet
- The system event logging function only has support for camera control events in this version
- The settings System can close program and Auto start conference are not fully completed, do not use
- The English language release is version 2.6.1.6 and is only missing the "Lock Seating list" function compared to the Swedish version 2.6.1.7
- This software requires access to a PC COM-port (RS-232 port) in order to run properly, even if the software is only installed and run for evaluation purposes without an actual Close Talk Conference System connected. If the computer doesn't have a built-in serial (COM) port, a USB-RS232 adapter or even a built-in telephone modem will work fine, just configure Close Talk Control to use an existing PC COM port number, when the software starts it will then simply report "No contact with the central unit"

IMPORTANT!
These software's requires Central Unit
firmware version
2.00 and Delegate Unit firmware version 2.00 or higher. DO NOT use this software
if the Central Unit firmware version is lower than 2.00. It is not possible to update a
lower-than-2.00 system to
2.00-system only by firmware update. New systems purchased 2003 or later is
version 2.00 or higher.
There are several language version's available, choose the most appropriate.
Changing program language after installation requires addressing some issues
described in the 'Changing language' application note.

Download and installation instructions:
The installation file requires an un-zip tool
such as WinZip which can be found
at www.winzip.com. Windows
XP Home, Professional, Windows Vista and Windows 7 have a built-in unzip tool.
Installation requires computer Administrator rights.
During installation with User Access Control (UAC) active in
Windows Vista or Windows 7, a security question will be presented, asking the user to confirm
the start of installation. Simply select "Proceed" to complete the installation.
If there is an
older version of Close Talk Control already installed on the computer it
must be uninstalled first using the Windows Control Panel->Add/Remove Software
tool.
To install:
1: Right-click the desired download link above and choose "Save as...". A
file dialog appears. Choose an easy to find location such as the computer
desktop, then
click "Save". The download starts.
2: When the download is finished, double-click the "CTControl_xxxx.zip" on
the desktop. What happens then is dependent on the type of ZIP-file extractor
installed on the computer. All files need to be FULLY extracted,
select "Extract files" or similar and wait for a completion message.
3: When the files are shown/extracted, locate a file called "Setup.exe" or just
"Setup" and double-click it. DO NOT double-click any other file!
4: The software installation program should be started and a panel similar to
the one below should appear:
5: Follow the on-screen information until finished. If the installation was successful, the program can be started using the Windows Start menu button in the lower left corner of the desktop.
